Salem is 23 km from Gandia (Valencia) heading towards Albaida. When you get to Castellón de Rugat take care because you may get lost before reaching Salem and it is only 3 km. away!

If you come on the inland road (Valencia-Alicante dual carriageway) you have to turn off at the Gandía-L´Ollería CV60 exit. Turn off on the stretch from L´Ollería to Gandía and take the Salem-Castelló de Rugat exit.

When you come into Salem you will see a number of signs by a little garden on the way into the village. Follow the last of these, a green one with white letters which says Granja San Miguel, to the end and go through a wooden gate and go up to the car park, from which you take a little path up to the house.
